Wedding Design: Color Coordination 101

Wedding design can be super overwhelming, but I promise you that it does not have to be rocket science. Today, I'm giving you the simplest possible step-by-step guide.

There are countless ways you can go about designing your wedding, but for this example, we're using Azazie because of their wide array of offerings.

Step one: Order several fabric swatches.

You can get three swatches for free from Azazie, and more for a very low price. Compare colors and fabrics, and then pick your favorite(s).

Very important: KEEP the swatch you choose!

Step two: Choose bridesmaid dresses.

Search on the site for your color/fabric of choice.

Step three: Coordinate menswear.

Azazie offers ties, pocket squares, vests, and more for men, so you can get a perfect match!

Step four: Consider fabric for decor.

Azazie also sells fabric by the yard. Even if you have no sewing skills, the fabric can be used as table runners, to drape across an arch, and more. It's all coming together!

Step five: Show your swatch to other vendors.

Bring your fabric swatch (or swatches) to meetings with other vendors, such as your florist, dessert vendor, stationary vendor, or linen provider. Ask them to match or coordinate with the swatch to create a cohesive overall design. Color coordination isn't so hard now, is it?!
